RIP British Horror Master James Herbert

The Guardian UK has full coverage and tributes here, here, and here. He died yesterday at the age of 69.

You can also access this archive article from the Observer in which Herbert talks about his work (1993).

Herbert's literary horror is scary, intense, and intricate. Most American libraries carry his books.  If you haven't read him before, I suggest you take a look for yourself.

I would suggest you start with Haunted.
