1. A resource I have mentioned many times, and even have listed on my permanent Horror Resources Page, Jump Scares: Scary Books for Scary People. 2. Goodreads has published their annual Horror coverage:
- 100 New Horror Book Recommendations for (Nearly) Every Kind of Reader: This is a list based on appeal, subgenres, and themes, making it a great resource to use as you are having conversations with readers. All have 2023 copyrights.
- Readers' Top 66 Horror Novels of the Past Three Years: mining their reader data, Goodreads lets us see what readers have mot enjoyed.
- Horror Experts Recommend Terrifying Tomes: as a counter punch to the Reader list, here are expert picks for all ages.
